RF Microneedling

RADIO FREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING
The best of two methods for effective skin rejuvenation and regeneration.

What is radiofrequency microneedling?
Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling is an innovative method for skin rejuvenation and regeneration. Two proven therapeutic approaches are combined with each other: radiofrequency energy with microneedling.

What happens during the radiofrequency microneedling?
With radiofrequency microneedling, 25 golden needles are inserted into the skin at different depths. A pulse of heat (radio frequency energy) is then sent through the tips of the needles within milliseconds. This leads to an activation of the body’s own regeneration processes with the release of growth factors and the stimulation of connective tissue cells (fibroblasts), which then produce more collagen and elastin fibers. So-called fractional radiofrequency microneedling is a further development of classical microneedling.

What does the radiofrequency microneedle do?
• Sensitive skin areas can also be treated with Dermapen

Indications:
• Wrinkle reduction
• Skin rejuvenation
• Skin tightening
• Pore reduction / complexion refinement
• Correction of scars (acne scars, surgical scars, burn scars, chickenpox scars)
• Reduction of stretch marks and pregnancy marks (so-called stretch marks)

What areas can be treated with radiofrequency microneedles?
• Face
• Throat
• Neckline
• Hands
• armpits
• Body (upper arms, elbows, inner thighs, knees, etc.)

Is one socially acceptable after radiofrequency microneedling treatment?

What are the possible risks and side effects of radiofrequency microneedling?
• Redness and swelling
• small bruises
• inflammation
• trigger a herpes simplex
• rarely keloid/scar growth
• pigmentation disorders
• Peeling of the skin

What types of skin can be treated with radiofrequency microneedles?
Radiofrequency microneedle treatment is suitable for all skin types.

What should be taken into account before and after a radiofrequency microneedling treatment?
Before treatment, you should avoid taking blood thinners for at least 1 week. After RF microneedling, direct sunlight should be avoided for approximately 6 to 8 weeks. When staying in the sun, a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 should be applied.

What aftercare is recommended after radiofrequency microneedling?
For aftercare, we recommend special cosmetic products with highly concentrated active ingredients to support collagen repair and production. Individual advice can be provided on request.

When should a radiofrequency microneedling treatment not be performed?
• Allergy to any of the ingredients
• Autoimmune diseases
• Acute and chronic skin diseases (dermatitis, psoriasis, etc.)
• Hemophilia (increased tendency to bleed)
•Diabetes
• Epilepsy, multiple sclerosis
• Take medications: vitamin A, antibiotics, anticoagulants, cytostatics
• Acute and chronic infections
• skin cancer
• Acute cardiovascular problems
• Period of pregnancy and lactation

When and for how long are the results visible after radiofrequency microneedling?
The first result of a radiofrequency microneedling treatment is visible after approximately 2 to 3 months, the final result can take up to 6 months. For deeper scar treatments, results can be expected after 4-6 months minimum. The result is usually permanent, but skin aging progresses.

How often should the radiofrequency microneedle be used?
To achieve an optimal result with radiofrequency microneedling, at least 2 to 3 treatments at 4 to 8 week intervals are recommended, depending on the region of the body and the condition of the skin. In order to maintain the treatment result, the treatment should be repeated once after 9 to 12 months.
